Emerging Leaders

on the Y4A Advisory Committee

Carrie Ambrose – Youth Coordinator at the Alliance of Disability Advocates, Centers for Independent Living, Raleigh.

David Chadderton –  Active with state-wide Youth Leadership Forum and National Youth Leadership Network.

Alan Chase – President of Disabled Student Organization at UNC-Pembroke and active in other state-wide advocacy efforts.

Jason Gosnell – Former OCS student and graduate of Partners in Policymaking.

Megan Jones – Self-published poet whose work appears in local publications.

Jennifer LaRocco - student in Durham with an interest in legal issues.

Gregory Moultrie – Participated in first North Carolina Youth Summit.

Josh Pace – Supports cross-disability advocacy; active in western North Carolina.

Ryan Pinion – Coordinated Youth Leadership Forum and works for Alliance for Disability Advocates.

Matthew Potter – Board member of local, state, and national organizations that promote self-advocacy by and for youths.

Marcel Smith –  Supports efforts at Alliance of Disability Advocates. Enacted scene for youth curriculum video on health care.

David Taylor, Jr. – Started successful microenterprise, Racecar WATERBOY, and presents workshops on starting a microenterprise.
